My experience at the Charmillion was very positive indeed. everything was clean from the pool facilities to the restaurant. The all inclusive buffet was great with a great variety of dishes. I was a bit let down from the fish restaurant where the food was a little miserable and seemed frozen fish not fresh. The Egyptian Staff was incredibly cordial with us, they weren't pushy for tips at all. The Coral reef beach is also quite near with sunbeds and you can have a swim looking at fish and corals, It was amazing! The staff always smiled and helped us promptly. Unfortunately, I can't give a 5 star due to the the Italian guest relation operator Martina was the one giving us a bit of attitude when I tried to book the dinner at the fish restaurant. I couldn't book the day before as I would have been to Cairo on that day so I asked her to help us out for this special occasion. I followed the procedure as instructed by the reception. She told us to leave a message to her through the reception as a reminder (it's weird as it sounds like she could have done it herself??) I didn't want to be difficult so I followed what she said. After spending 30 minutes queuing at the reception, the receptionists were only 2 and they were working very hard, they told me I could have done it at the guest relation area. So, I went back to her a bit confused and asked her to do it as the reception suggested and she changed completely. she raised her voiced and her face turned. I was a bit surprised from that behaviour. She told me NAME? TIME? What time? Extremely rude! I'd suggest you train your staff better in these cases. Also, she assumed I spoke Italian when I spoked to her in English as I felt more comfortable. Her bahaviour would have been unacceptable in Europe. I have worked in hospitality for years and this is definitely a red flag. Also, The resort hasn't replied to a single email I sent to them before getting there. I wanted to find out more about tours and facilities but they totally ghosted me. I even tried to call them but nothing.
In any case, apart from these small details, I 'd suggest the resort to anyone and I will be back again.

Had a great time here and the staff are amazing. Rooms need some updating especially bathrooms but any issues are fixed straight away. Great foid options for vegetarians - chef made food specially if we didn't like something. Not all areas wheelchair friendly and beach area is quite small and not accessible for those with mobility issues

The most horrible hotel in the world.
The room which is supposedly renovated with new furniture has blood on the door .The luxury room of a 5 star hotel is under any criticism as if it was built since the time of the pharaohs . Cracked tiles , mould on the joints and urine on the bathroom wall.Getting a good night's sleep is a real luxury especially if they are building a hotel 10 metres from your window . Dust pours down like snow . We changed the room , it was built from an even earlier era , the second dynasty of the Egyptian kingdom . Here there is not so much dust but there are other surprises . Facing the garden the room had at least something attractive . However, when your terrace door has been smashed hundreds of times and barely closes , you start to worry about your safety . The food is very good looking , but tastes of nothing , probably why there is not a single cat in the area . For new year they did their best with the decoration , but the air conditioner reminded you it was winter . Very bad organization , everything was tasteless , people and we left to our room as early as 20.00. The internet has 10 15 minutes a day and you have to stalk it that you missed one time your moment there . Poor reception people , you can't get to them , everyone wants to complain , wish they had put numbers to keep us in order . The beach is beautiful , the gardens well kept , the only thing that pleases one . Otherwise hygiene is gone , not having to go to a public toilet , all the contagious diseases can stick to you . One more positive thing that I will end with is that there are a few staff members who are very friendly. I don't want to talk about the others. This is the worst resort of Egypt .

Booked for one week with all inclusive service I was impressed by the attitude of the employee. Very good service, with special compliments to the restaurant manager who is putting efforts together in order to make the quests be satisfy.
A big plus is the diversity of the food (options for special needs are available) the complex is very well kept, room ok, a la carte restaurants available for 2 books. Some of them located in the others hotels from the big complex. Club resort guests with all inclusive service can use facilities from another hotels.
The entertainment team quite active, shows and activities during the day.
Regarding the lobby bat some evenings with non alcoholic smoothie s but alcoholic drinks aren't what they are suppose to be, even if is local. The hotel has also a farmacy, ATM machine and some shopping center. The prices are bigger than normal shopping area.,
Different pools for kids and adults, the beach has sunbeds, also an area for snorkeling.
I highly recommend this hotel.

Honest review time.
We are on our last full day of our 7 day stay.
It's a lovely place.... grounds are very well kept.... clean tidy at all times.
Our room was a standard double with garden views and a partial Seaview leaning over the balcony haha.... but it's nice.
Room was a very good size.... bed firm but slept fine.
Cleaner dude in every day.... but if you don't want a knock on the door at 8-9 am put do not disturb on.... they will come back later.... they leave 2 big bottles of water.... if you need more just ask.... shower good.... fridge cold.... English speaking tv channels are limited but some channels at night with English films.
Pool is lovely.... deep end 185cm towards beach.... shallow end near bar .... kids pool too.... beds have comfy mattresses on so good for relaxing in sun and towels available too.
The spa and trip guys are always around the pool.... but a polite no does work.
Pool bar ok and snacks (hotdogs chips salad etc) ok too.... water gym every day before lunch and we had a water jetpack display and pool/foam party too in the afternoon.... March there are plenty of beds.... also plenty down the beach.... rough sandy but ok.... but if you have beach shoes for the sea then bring them as it's stony in places.... but plenty of fish to see.

On to food.
We aren't picking fussy eaters.... but personally found the buffet at the club resort side a bit lacking.... shame.
But as it's part of the main resort you can also use the buffet on the sealife side.... which surprisingly was excellent for lunch dinner.... we don't do breakfast.
I can only comment on one of the restaurants that you can book.... The lovely Lebanese on the sealife side.... very good food and well worth a visit.... not for vegetarians though haha.
24hr lobby bar here.... lads up there are very good.
Can't really comment on the evening entertainment as we didn't go.... normal kids disco about 830pm followed by dancers and things about 930pm.
Overall a nice clean relaxed place to stay.... and we got a good bargain week away from cold wet English weather in March.... we would come back definitely.... weather has been amazing with 25 to 28c.... 18c+ at night.... no rain.... but can be breezy.
One down side the gym doesn't open until 9am.
