Hotel was under construction, however even with half of the property closed off it was still a massive resort with multiple pools and access to the beach! The theatre was in the closed section so they moved the nightly acts to the Sky Bar and all of the shows were amazing. The Coffee Bar is an awesome little cafe that makes TERRIFIC lattes (and anything else you might want). And lastly, our concierge DIEGO was so friendly, knowledgeable and helpful - he had all the answers and knew how to get stuff done!

I regret to say that my stay at the Grand Sirenis Riviera Maya Resort & Spa was nothing short of a nightmare. From the moment I stepped into the room, I was greeted by filth and unwelcome guests in the form of ants crawling in the bed. The air conditioning unit decided to take an extended vacation of its own, leaving me to swelter in the oppressive heat throughout my entire stay. To add insult to injury, hot water was a luxury only available during certain hours of the day, leaving me to shiver through cold showers at night.
The rooms themselves were a throwback to a bygone era, with outdated furnishings and decor that left much to be desired. But perhaps the most alarming aspect of my stay was the presence of raccoons roaming freely throughout the property. As a doctor, I am deeply concerned about the potential health risks posed by these animals, especially considering their known propensity to carry diseases such as rabies.
Despite my repeated attempts to address these issues with the staff, I was met with nothing but indifference and incompetence. Restaurant reservations were non-existent, customer service was abysmal, and transportation around the resort was limited at best. Even the promised complementary drinks in the mini refrigerator were nowhere to be found.
To make matters worse, the so-called manager, Marlene, displayed a shocking lack of professionalism and empathy towards my concerns. Instead of addressing my grievances, she chose to dismiss me outright, leaving me feeling frustrated and unheard.
In short, I cannot in good conscience recommend this resort to anyone. Save yourself the trouble and choose a destination where your safety and comfort are actually valued. Cancun, Cabo, or Cozumel would be far better options. As for me, this will be my first and last visit to the Grand Sirenis Riviera Maya Resort & Spa.

This resort is HORRIBLE. Staff is disrespectful and incredibly rude and condescending. Alberto should be fired and never re-hired for a customer service position again. He’s proven that he lacks common courtesy and the ability of putting a smile on his face. They do not take your issues seriously, especially when someone like Alberto is the manager. The staff want to help but when their boss has no manners, it ruins the entire experience. If I could leave 0 stars I would. ALBERTO NEEDS TO GO !!!!!!!!!!!

We just got back from Grand Sirenis Riviera Maya and it was incredible. Emma was our concierge and she went above and beyond for us to ensure our stay was perfect. We had an issue at one of the a la carte’s one evening and she did everything in her power to rectify the problem for us.
All of the staff was so warm, friendly and welcoming. The amenities were great and so much to do. My kids didn’t want to leave and neither did we!
Thanks again to everyone at the resort, especially Emma;)

We just spent 2 weeks here and it has been outstanding. Food was great. Room was big and clean. The resort is BIG, but not as big as you'd think. One end of resort to the other was about a 15 minute walk, helps you walk off all the great food and drinks! Entertainment was awesome, shows, pool games, beach volleyball. Christopher with the entertainment staff was amazing.
