Reception was very busy everyday the reception staff handled it well and were friendly and helpful but needed more staff to deal with the queue.
Lovely hotel & rooms were big, clean and comfortable.
The mealtimes were a bit chaotic, no structure and a bit of a free for all.
The food was very good and staff extremely nice, polite & helpful.
Pool area was great too
Our cleaner Lila on our floor was very friendly and efficient and greeted us every day with a smile thank you :)
Overall a great hotel and very clean and good food would recommend.

The San Antonio Hotel has everything you could wish for on holiday. We had B/B and Evening meal. The food was delicious and more than you could choose from. The Staff were marvellous, both the bedroom cleaners and the Staff in the dining area and the Staff in reception could not do enough to make your stay perfect in every way. The pool was lovely and you did not have to fight for a lounger as there was plenty. Evening entertainment was provided free and was most enjoyable
And relaxing after a full day.
We loved it all and would go again in the future.

We just spent the week here, and the hotel itself is well located with lots of amenities in close proximity and a bus station very close by which were handy. The staff were friendly and curtious, and I'd like to say a big thanks to the poolside bar staff, our room cleaner 'Lila' for keeping the room spotless, and Spencer the dining host.
The negatives of our stay were that there was a huge group of medical students who turned up and took over the hotel, ate and drank everything, spent their days blocking the lift access and corridors glued to their phones, making noise till 3am with no considerations for the actual guests who'd paid for a relaxing week.
Other than that, the stay was pleasant, the staff were friendly and hardworking and the facilities were good but in future, don't forget about your guests and families who worked hard to pay for a week away

Staff are well friendly and helpful. Food is great (the only thing I would change if I could would be the amount of food that has onions on (I can't have onions))
The spa treatments are absolutely brilliant.
Indoor pool is lovely and warm.
View from our room was incredible.

Have stayed here before and had a lovely experience, this time round completely different.
1st off on arrival pool view room that was requested was not available so was given a basic room and told to come back in the morning, the next day still no pool room available and offered a sea view right round the other end of the hotel, decided to stay in the room we was given as it difficult to move all our luggage round the other side.
2nd restaurant booking kiosks didn’t work so had to do in reception and was done wrong twice seating our whole party of 7 in separate rooms by table instead of together as it would normally be.
3rd day 2 a whole group of about 100 medical students arrived at the hotel and completely took over the buffet, every night the food was run out or under cooked as they was rushing to get it out, no table available and tables not cleared on time, one add on restaurant was closed for them as well and no compensation for the other restaurant offered, why close a while restaurant and still let them use the buffet? Was complete chaos.
4th 3 of our party got food poisoning from the Indian restaurant attached the the hotel and the last night which resulted in travel chaos the next day, the only compensation offered was “you can have the room until 2pm” even though we wasn’t leaving the hotel until 7pm, which resulted in 3 of our party with sickness sleeping in chairs at the smoking area by the pool.
Main points - reception very busy and unable to cope with the demand of guests.
Cleaners were amazing especially after a night of illness, we left a tip.
“Adult only” jacuzzi overrun with kids even though there are signs up and a dedicated kids pool and no staff around to enforce the rules.
Bar staff were amazing as before, very quick and helpful. Drinks are decent also. Food is normally decent for a buffet even though we actually didn’t even manage to get in for 2 days in a row which resulted in buying food outside which defeats the purpose of “all inclusive”
Probably won’t be returning, we love Malta but next time we will be staying elsewhere.
