I had the misfortune of staying at Hyde Park Lane for four days, and it was a nightmare from start to finish. The first issue arose when I discovered there was no hot water in my room. Despite notifying the staff multiple times, the problem persisted throughout my entire stay, making it impossible to take a decent shower.
As if that wasn't bad enough, the pool, which was one of the main attractions of the resort, was inexplicably emptied during my stay. It was a huge disappointment and completely ruined any chance of enjoying a relaxing swim.
To top it all off, on the third day of my stay, the electricity in my room went off unexpectedly, leaving me in complete darkness for hours. The staff were slow to respond and offered little assistance in resolving the issue.
Just when I thought things couldn't get any worse, the air conditioning in my room failed on the final day of my stay, turning my room into a sweltering sauna. Despite numerous complaints, the staff were unable to fix the problem, leaving me tossing and turning in discomfort throughout the night.
Overall, my experience at Hyde Park Lane was nothing short of a disaster. From the lack of hot water to the pool being emptied, the electricity outage, and the malfunctioning air conditioning, it was one problem after another. I would strongly advise against staying at this resort unless you enjoy a holiday filled with frustration and disappointment.

We really enjoyed Hyde Park Lane. We stayed for 6 nights and had breakfast and dinner. The rooms were really clean, the team at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. The pools were great.
The only catch is that if you are vegetarian, the dinner and breakfast service aren't too great. For meat eaters there's lots of choice and variety but for vegetarians not so much. There are also no steps taken to identify vegan or veggie food, like you have with allergens, and all of the serving utensils are shared across meat and veggie dishes. If you have eggs at breakfast, it's all cooked on the same grill as the meat, and If you want an omelette it looks like they use the same bowls as the meat omelettes to prepare it.

Stayed for a week self catering in suite 96.
Property was so clean and spacious, kitchen well equiped beds comfortable.
Veranda got sun most of day.
No problems getting sunbeds, only ate here one night, food was lovely.
No matter what department, all staff so friendly and helpful🙂
Best thing was so peaceful and relaxed.
If you want to chill with no mad parties, this place is lovey.

Well what can I say other than Fantastic! This place ticks all the boxes in what we wanted from our family holiday with 3 children, the bungalow was of a good size and cleaned to a high standard the maids where brilliant. The grounds of the hotel are imaculate, groundsman do an amazing job of keeping this place clean and the catering team where amazing interacting with our children every night at dinner making them feel special it was lovely and everyone is so friendly, we stayed half board and the breakfast was lovely and the dinners where different every night with a different theme, we enjoyed every single one of them and everything was delicious, the only thing I would say is the hot food does get cold quickly as they don't use hot plates to keep the food warm so if you don't go when it opens the food can become cold, but this doesn't mean the food is bad as it isn't. Overall this hotel is one to return to time and time again and we loved it, 10 mins walk to the main strip in Puerto del Carmen.

Rooms are nice but the walls are thin and you can clearly hear your neighbour. Our toilet leaked even after the maintenance man had been to fix it. Evening entertainment was poor. The first week the staff in the restaurant were amazing but when the staff changed in the second week they rarely smiled. Both Swimming pools were freezing.
